Our client is passionate about helping farmers achieve the highest yields while reducing farmer’s environmental footprint and are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the south of England
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, developing high-performance.
- CRM management.
- Schedule regional meetings and presentations.
- Conduct reviews and appraisals.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process.
- Induct new starters ensuring integration within the company and team.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets.
- Set and monitor team KPIs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region.
- Provide sales forecasts and reports.
- Develop a distribution relationship strategy, providing commercial and technical support.
- Provide agronomic solutions to the sales team.
- Deliver one-to-one training with new starters within your team.
- Dual calling support.
- Research market trends ensuring products are positioned correctly.
- Develop/train sales team in technical and commercial aspects.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications
- Agronomic background.
- People management experience (two to three years minimum).
- Commercial experience – successful background in sales within the agricultural industry.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
- Living within the Hampshire / Wiltshire / Dorset regions.
- Ability to analyse market data and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Experience working with agricultural distribution, developing relationships/strategy.
- FACTs qualified/agronomic experience.
- A full, clean UK Driving License.
