Our client is passionate about helping farmers achieve the highest yields while reducing farmer’s environmental footprint and are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the south of England

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, developing high-performance.
  • CRM management.
  • Schedule regional meetings and presentations.
  • Conduct reviews and appraisals.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process.
  • Induct new starters ensuring integration within the company and team.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets.
  • Set and monitor team KPIs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Provide sales forecasts and reports.
  • Develop a distribution relationship strategy, providing commercial and technical support.
  • Provide agronomic solutions to the sales team.
  • Deliver one-to-one training with new starters within your team.
  • Dual calling support.
  • Research market trends ensuring products are positioned correctly.
  • Develop/train sales team in technical and commercial aspects.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications

  • Agronomic background.
  • People management experience (two to three years minimum).
  • Commercial experience – successful background in sales within the agricultural industry.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Living within the Hampshire / Wiltshire / Dorset regions.
  • Ability to analyse market data and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Experience working with agricultural distribution, developing relationships/strategy.
  • FACTs qualified/agronomic experience.
  • A full, clean UK Driving License.
