Our client – a highly respected and innovative designer and manufacturer of dairy barn equipment, is seeking to appoint a UK Country Sales Manager to bring their cow comfort and dairy infrastructure products to the UK market. The long established European company is at the forefront of dairy barn design with cutting edge products to maximise cow comfort, ease of handling, maximising cow lying times and solutions for heat abatement with a range of products from comfort brushes, locking yolks, fans and ventilation to mattresses and scraper systems. With enviable sales across Europe and further afield, the client is now seeking to bring their offering to the UK dairy sector.
Based from home but with regular travel across the UK and occasional travel to the European head office, you will identify key merchants, suppliers and agri builders with whom you can establish an ongoing relationship with. You will introduce their portfolio of products to their sales teams and be the key point of contact for technical support and provide support on farm when required.
The successful candidate will be a self starter, highly motivated and driven with excellent relationship skills. You will be a dairy cow expert, recognising the benefits of cow comfort infrastructure and able to demonstrate the return on investment this brings through better feed conversion to milk yield of the happy comfortable cow! In return for your efforts the client offers a competitive base salary plus bonus structure and the usual benefits befitting the role.
